NScessity was launched in 2003 by Liz Newton. Liz had more than 20 years experience in the electronic industry and, helpfully, is also a parent. The first products launched by NScessity were Air Purifiers and Humidifiers, although other companies made these products, NScessity broke new ground by introducing a range specifically designed for Nursery use.
5 years on NScessity has grown and now specialises in products that make everyday family life safer and more comfortable. There are now two well known brands, Baby Essentials and Sun Essentials with a large range of products from technologically advanced monitors to the very best in UV protection. In 2007 we were incredibly proud to win prestigious consumer awards from both Practical Parenting and Mother & Baby Magazine for our Travel Centre, we have also won awards for our monitors, both video and UV from the trade industry body, the BPA (Baby Products Association).
